The GreenTrans-Edu cluster continues to strengthen its international partnerships. Prof. Dr. Martin Morgeneyer, project coordinator from UTC and Jean Monnet Chair, recently visited colleagues at Mindanao State University (MSU) in the Manila Information Office of the MSU, including Prof. Melba M. Angni, Dr. Husna A. Dimapalao and Engr. Raymer Marl S. Tan. The visit further deepened cooperation within the GreenTrans-Edu network and opened new avenues for collaboration.
“We are delighted to welcome Martin for this friendship visit. Our discussions covered not only future joint activities within the GreenTrans-Edu cluster, but also exciting opportunities beyond it,” said Dr. Husna Abdullah Dimapalo.
Prof. Morgeneyer’s visit was part of his broader mission to promote EU-ASEAN dialogue and science diplomacy. “Meeting our partners in Manila has been inspiring. Personal connections are essential for building strong, sustainable partnerships,” he emphasized. Furthermore he also mentiones that through this visit, he was not only know more about MSU as partner cluster, but also about the Philippines.
The meeting, held on 23 November 2025, also discuss the upcoming GreenTrans-Edu activities, including a Science Camp and Winter School for researchers and students from all partner institutions. These flagship activities will take place across Indonesia, Germany, and France, underscoring the cluster’s commitment to multidisciplinary, and cross-regional collaboration on SDGs topic.
